With the above equipment, samples from fire scenes can be tested for evidence of flammable and/or combustible liquids. Food can be tested for contamination. Soil samples can be tested for evidence of ground contamination and foreign substances, especially in areas adjacent to fuel storage tanks. Soil samples can also be tested to assure that environmentally safe chemicals are being used to treat native greenery. Deterioration levels within motor vehicles and machinery, as well as fuel oil contamination tanks, can be determined by examination and testing of oil samples. Paint samples can be analyzed for presence of hazardous levels of lead contamination. Water damage analysis can distinguish between rain water, salt water or chlorinated (chemically treated drinking water). Our laboratory results are proof positive in the determination and identification of a material or product, whether solid or liquid. Testing procedures prove cases that require analysis and identification of trace elements and the overall integrity of materials.
